Improving services for people with Autism, ADHD and mental health conditions

You told us improving services for people with Autism, ADHD and mental health conditions is one of your key priorities and we want to understand this better. Healthwatch is your independent health and social care champion and we have the power to make NHS leaders and other decision-makers listen to your feedback. We will share what you tell us and make recommendations for change.
People sharing their views

We are interested in hearing from City residents:

  • Children, young people and parents/carers who have tried to get an assessment for Autism and/or ADHD, or have been through the assessment process
  • Adults who have Autism or ADHD and the support available
  • Adults who have accessed, or tried to access, mental health services.

There are various ways in which you can share your story; we have online surveys, focus groups (virtual and in-person) and drop-in sessions. You could invite us to your group or arrange a 1:1 conversation.

For the in-person focus groups and drop-in sessions, we have chosen a variety of different venues in Longton, Hanley and Fegg Hayes.

You might think your feedback doesn’t have the power to change how health and social care services run. We want to show you how that isn’t the case.
