Virtual Visit with Healthwatch Stoke Invite to Care Homes

We would like to invite Care Homes in Stoke-on-Trent to work with Healthwatch Stoke-on-Trent on our Virtual Visit Programme. Due to the cautious restoration of the national Enter and View Programme we are continuing to conduct our visits virtually to ease pressure on services and to ensure that we help to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Yet still providing everyone connected with the service an opportunity to share positive or developmental experiences and feedback.

In summary, a virtual visit with us would simply be Healthwatch representatives contacting four groups: a manager, relatives (where possible), service users, and staff. All of which can be done by a choice of a short phone call, survey, or email. Please note – that we will definitely aim to reduce unnecessary time where we can in appreciation of peoples’ active jobs.

In return, we will compile a short report with our findings, including any recommendations, but equally highlighting the service to the wider public. We also keep in close contact with Local Authority Commissioners, CQC, and the CCG to share the work that we are undertaking, so there is a lot of positivity to be taken from our visits.

We have completed two visits so far with Davlyn House and Shared Lives Stoke.

Our team would be more than happy to discuss further via phone call or email should you need additional clarity.

If you would like to get involved, please use our contact form here to let us know and we will be in touch ASAP.
