Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC) 'Barriers to Research' Workshops

We're back with a new series of workshops and events where you can contribute your experiences, views, and ideas to shape the delivery of University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust's Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC) North Midlands.

This time, we want to hear about barriers to research - whether you've not felt interested or faced other issues that stop you from being part of research. With your help, we hope to break down these barriers and improve public participation in research.

Book your place here:

Participants will receive a £30 gift card for their time and contributions.

To keep things fair, we kindly ask that you only book onto ONE of the above sessions. If you register for more than one session, your bookings may be cancelled.

As a finale to this series of events, we will be hosing a co-design workshop where we will be joined by B. Mure Illustration who will be live scribing. This event will be taking place on Monday 14th December, 10am - 12:30pm at The Bridge Centre. Bookings for this workshop will be opening soon.

Engaging Communities Solutions CIC (ECS) who deliver Healthwatch Stoke-on-Trent, are delighted to be working with UHNM on the development of their Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC). The CRDC initial development is being funded by a grant from the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).

We are working with them to ensure that our local communities are actively involved in the development of public and patient involvement and engagement (PPIE) at the CRDC.

How does sharing your views make a difference?

You might think your feedback doesn’t have the power to change how health and social care services run. We want to show you how that isn’t the case.
