Shaping our workplan: What matters to you?

Each year, your local Healthwatch puts together a work programme that reflects the health and social care needs of the area.

By listening to local people, we can identify areas where the services are working well and where improvements are needed. After some in-depth research and a written report on our findings, we can tell service providers our ideas on how to improve. Our recommendations are used to influence changes in local health and social care services, making a difference for the people who use them.

As we finish our 2022/23 work programme on long-term conditions, we are now looking ahead to our next programme. We want our upcoming work programme to reflect the needs and priorities of the people of Stoke-on-Trent. To make sure that we capture your voice, we have put on some virtual sessions where you can meet our team and share your thoughts on the health and social care services that matter to you. By taking part, you can help shape the future of local health and social care services so that they meet the needs of the community, improve the quality of care, and provide better outcomes for patients and service users.

The virtual sessions will take place on Zoom on the following dates:

  • Thursday 6 April 2023, 10:30 – 12:00
  • Thursday 6 April 2023, 14:30 – 16:00
  • Thursday 13 April 2023, 18:30 – 20:00

If you would like to attend, please click here to book your place.

Can’t make it? Don't worry, you can still share your priorities with us! Submit your thoughts through our priorities survey, or you can contact us directly to speak with a member of our team.
